At the Europe Conference of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) in Istanbul tomorrow, one of our architects Bjarne van der Drift will speak about the dangers of increased flood risk in The Netherlands and different ways to adapt to these threats in the lecture “Adaptive Density to Natural Threats and Climate Change.”

He will, together with the other speakers in this session (Atila Zekioglu, César Frías Enciso, Ilayda Oner Mermerbas, MSc, Julia Köhler, Louise Clarke and Patrick COULOMBEL), present the problems and solutions developed at regional, urban and building scales to find solutions related to rising sea levels, drought, extreme events and earthquakes.
