We are proud to share that as of July 1st, our architect-director, Diederik Dam, has been appointed to the board of the Carnegie Foundation, owner and custodian of the Peace Palace in The Hague.

In his role focusing on heritage and real estate, Diederik brings together a wealth of experience in monumental architecture and contemporary design. His vision for sustainable renovation and heritage preservation aligns closely with the complex challenges of maintaining and future-proofing this national landmark.

“My architectural vision centres on creating designs that are both adaptable and enduring, with an emphasis on elegance and timelessness. I look forward to contributing my expertise to the Peace Palace and helping to preserve its monumental legacy while preparing it for the future.”

Since its inauguration in 1913, the Peace Palace has stood as an international symbol of peace and justice. Through this appointment, Diederik contributes to the stewardship of one of the Netherlands’ most significant monuments ensuring it remains safeguarded for generations to come.

A true honour, and a meaningful opportunity to support a place of global importance.
