Located in the heart of Leidsche Rijn in Utrecht, the mixed residential concept BUUR has been completed and celebrated its opening event early this week. We collaborated with JCAU and NwA architecten to create a unified plan that embraces architectural diversity, resulting in a varied façade with Parisian allure.

The three blocks comprise 454 apartments, including small maisonettes on the plinth, along with parking and three courtyards. The ground floor will house a new creative hotspot: a vibrant mix of crafts, leisure facilities, and social initiatives. The first businesses have already signed up, including a vintage racing bike maker, two creative fashion designers, and a gym.

With two-thirds designated as social housing and one-third as mid-market rental units, this concept fosters a vibrant community of diverse neighbours that we are proud of.
