Carlton WTC
With a height of 120 m, the Carlton tower is the tallest component of the Almere l’Hermitage office complex. This new business centre includes three large slab-like buildings and is situated to the north of Almere Central Station, in the direct vicinity of the Mandela Park and nine other office complexes.
Carlton WTC consists of a tall central volume flanked by two lower volumes and is supported by slender columns that create a passage from the station to the park. The entrances to the two large atria are also situated here. Vertical aluminium ribs placed in three different patterns dominate the facades, which become increasingly transparent towards to the top.
