Like an iridescent diamond an unusual glass office tower concludes the Plein van de Verenigde Naties next to the A12 motorway and Zuidweg, an important gateway to Zoetermeer. The volume owes its sculptural look to the fact that it is ‘tailored’ just above its middle and fit in on an irregularly shaped plot. The façade closes or opens up on the basis of sun orientation.

The tower rises from a basement which encloses parking space and conference rooms, accessed from the raised Plein van de Verenigde Naties. Arranged round a central core, the office spaces are optimized for daylight entry and flexible arrangements. The tower is topped by a double-high floor, the so-called ‘pentoffice’.
